Hanwoo BBQ in Nonhyeon, Gangnam 🥩 Tuppul Hanwoo Cheonguk, 500g platter ₩79,000
Visited 9 Oct 2026 · Tuppul Hanwoo Cheonguk (투뿔한우천국), Nonhyeon

🥩 Hanwoo, Korea's own beef, grilled for you at the table in Nonhyeon-dong, Gangnam. We had the hanwoo platter, chadolbagi, yukhoe, then ramyeon and fried rice to finish. The staff were friendly and did all the grilling. By my own standard, it's the best-value hanwoo place I know 👍

- Place
- Tuppul Hanwoo Cheonguk (투뿔한우천국), Nonhyeon · Nonhyeon-dong, Gangnam, Seoul
- 📍 Where and when
- Tuppul Hanwoo Cheonguk, Nonhyeon branch (투뿔한우천국 논현점), Nonhyeon-dong, Gangnam, Seoul 🏙️. Visited 9 October 2026; use the map search below 🗺️
- 🍽️ What I ordered
- Hanwoo assorted platter (한우모듬) 500g ₩79,000, chadolbagi (차돌박이, thin-sliced brisket) ₩21,000, yukhoe (육회, beef tartare), ramyeon and fried rice. Soju and beer ₩2,900.
- 👀 What an owner notices
- Being able to eat 1++ hanwoo at this price was the part I liked most 💯. Staff in black gloves bring the platter, grill it and cut it with tongs and scissors, so nobody at the table has to cook. With soju and beer this cheap, it's easy on a group 🍻
- 💡 Tip for visitors
- If you've wanted to try hanwoo but the prices put you off, start here 🐂. You don't need to know how to grill it either — just sit back and eat as the pieces come off the pan 🍽️
- 🎬 One scene
- The staff grip a piece with tongs and snip it into bite-size cubes with scissors ✂️. Steam rises off the pan, king oyster mushroom and green chili sit at the edge, and the cooked pieces gather on the side tray while we keep filling our glasses 🥂
