A Michelin Bib Gourmand pick for seven years running, this second-floor dining room near Hapjeong station serves a milky, slow-simmered beef broth that is deceptively simple and consistently well made. It makes an easy, filling stop between the cafes of nearby Mangwon and Yeonnam-dong.

Hapjeong Ok, a Michelin-selected restaurant specializing in gomtang, is amazing. The price is only 12,000 KRW, which is unbelievable for this quality — you won’t find better at this price. The staff are very kind, but be prepared for a long wait on weekends. Highly recommended!”
