A basement lunch counter tracing its roots to a 1962 restaurant in Jinju, this Yeouido institution has been feeding the neighborhood's office workers for decades with a single excellent dish. It's an easy, air-conditioned break from Yeouido's finance-district towers and the nearby Han River park.

Service is super quick (3 minutes…), but there is often a wait around lunch time (20 ish minutes for me). I absolutely loved the kimchi here. You can see they make batches on their own right next to the restaurant. The broth was nutty and delicious, it’s worth the price!

I tried to order cold bean-soup noodles, but they're already sold out. Instead, I ordered chicken kalguksu and bibim-guksu.
It wasn't bad but it tasted a little different from when I came here before.
